On the weekend, a shocking incident occurred in front of Delray Feed and Supply in Delray Beach. More than 40 duck carcasses were discovered, with their remains left behind by an illegal dumpster. The business owners were horrified and disgusted by the actions of those responsible.
Michelle Cohen, the owner of the business, immediately alerted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and shared photos she had taken to report the incident. Surveillance video is currently being reviewed in search of any potential leads.
The dump included at least 40 or more duck carcasses, and Cohen also suspected that they had been shot. The owners are certain that the remains were from a wide variety of ducks, but they declined to touch them further out of disinclination. They hope for a resolution to this issue soon.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is currently investigating to get to the bottom of this illegal dumping. Michelle Cohen, who owns Delray Feed and Supply, is highly supportive of hunting but only under the premise of respect towards animals. She hopes for a resolution to this matter so that no more harm comes to wildlife in her area.
