According to a regulatory filing on Monday, Alyssa Henry, the CEO of Square, a unit of fintech business Block Inc, will be leaving the business on Oct. two. This comes just after her nine-year tenure with the business. Following the announcement, Block Inc’s shares fell two.7% to $49.86. Prior to her function at Square, Henry served as the vice president at Amazon Net Solutions and sat on the boards of Intel and Unity Technologies, a application firm. Block, led by CEO Jack Dorsey, specializes in merchant payment solutions and gives an app for cryptocurrency trading. Final month, the business reported improved quarterly income, driven by larger payment volumes.
