According to a regulatory filing on Monday, the CEO of Square, a unit of fintech business Block, will be leaving the business. Alyssa Henry, who has been with the business for more than nine years, is set to leave on October 2nd. Following this news, Block Inc’s shares saw a lower of two.7% at $49.86 soon after the market place closed. Prior to her part at Square, Henry served as the vice president at Amazon Internet Solutions and held positions on the boards of Intel and application firm Unity Technologies. Block, led by Jack Dorsey, delivers merchant payment solutions and a cryptocurrency trading app, and lately reported an improve in quarterly income due to larger payment volumes.
