The Orlando Museum of Art is hosting a free admission event on June 20th as part of their Access for All program. This initiative, in partnership with the Orlando Science Center and Enzian Theater, takes place every third Thursday of the month. Visitors can enjoy live performances, guided tours, and collaborations with local arts organizations during these events.

On this particular day, art enthusiasts, cinema connoisseurs, and science fans will come together to explore the museum’s offerings. The Orlando Science Center will bring STEM-centric Family Nights to the museum, while Enzian Theater will offer a free screening of the 1962 sci-fi film “La Jetée.” Additionally, the museum will showcase the Florida Prize exhibition featuring new Florida visual artists.

The Access for All program was launched in January with funding from the Art Bridges Foundation, a nonprofit that supports art museums with financial and programming resources. The goal of the program is to reduce financial barriers to art outreach and limit transportation obstacles. SunRail riders can present their ticket at the museum to receive complimentary fare to and from the event.

Cathryn Mattson, CEO of the Orlando Museum of Art, stated, “Our mission is to create a space where the arts can be universally enjoyed and experienced.” The museum is grateful for the partnership with the Art Bridges Foundation to provide opportunities for individuals and families to engage with their exhibitions and programs.
