Blinken faces issues with his Boeing jet, preventing him from taking off

While traveling to Brussels for talks on the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken encountered problems with a Boeing jet. The Air Force C-40 jet, which is a modified version of the Boeing 737, experienced unspecified issues that required Blinken and other State Department officials to travel by car between Paris and Brussels.

This incident marks the second time that Blinken has had problems with a Boeing plane during his travels. Earlier this year, a similar model of plane faced a critical failure due to an oxygen leak while returning from Switzerland. These incidents have raised questions about the quality and safety of Boeing jets, particularly in light of recent issues with the 737 Max.

Boeing has been under increased scrutiny following these incidents, as well as others on subsequent flights. Many of the issues reported with Boeing jets occurred on older planes and may not necessarily be caused by anything Boeing did. However, media coverage of these incidents has brought more attention to the overall safety of Boeing aircraft. Investigations into Boeing’s practices have been launched in response to these incidents, further highlighting concerns about the company’s commercial jets.
