Firearms Examiner Sara Rogers has taken on a role that is often associated with male enthusiasts, despite not growing up in a state with strict firearm regulations. According to Dr. Steadman, the center where Rogers works has a total of 43 employees, with 34 of them being female. As a Firearms Examiner, her primary responsibility is to analyze ammunition components to determine if they were discharged by a specific firearm.

Rogers acknowledges that working with firearms is her job and she executes it professionally, even though she does not have a personal passion for firearms. She expressed how gun enthusiasts are typically perceived as male but she has taken on the role with expertise. Despite not being familiar with firearms growing up in a state with strict regulations, Rogers now carries out her duties efficiently.
