MUSC Global Health Week is looking for well-written abstracts to be presented at their poster session. The abstract should be in narrative form and not include any tables, charts, or graphs. It should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title. The submitting author is expected to attend the event and present the poster, and must obtain pre-approval from any co-authors before submitting the abstract.
To be accepted, abstracts must be organized, concise, clear, and well-written. They should address a problem in global health and outline the approach taken to solve it. Preliminary results are suggested but not required. However, final results will be necessary for the poster presentation. It is important that authors establish a clear connection between their work and outcomes related to global health.
The committee will evaluate submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality, and clarity. They will recommend which submissions should be included in the poster session. Authors will receive notification of acceptance by March 29 with detailed instructions on how to prepare their posters.
