Central High School football team is set to play in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs this Friday. As the District 6 champ, they will face off against District 10 champ Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. This game marks their first interdistrict game and was a double-overtime win over Clearfield.
Meanwhile, Cambria Heights, who recently won their first-ever District 6 championship, will be heading to the state Class 1A playoffs with a Saturday matchup against District 4 champ South Williamsport. The game will be played at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
District 6 2A champ Bald Eagle Area will also be playing in the playoffs, facing off against District 4 champ Southern Columbia at Mansion Park on Friday at 7 p.m. And District 6 4A champ Juniata will visit District 4 champ Selinsgrove for a Friday night matchup at Selinsgrove High School, also starting at 7 p.m.
