Get ready for a deliciously scientific night: TLU’s Chemistry CHAOS Night is back tonight

The Chemistry CHAOS Night at Texas Lutheran University is back and better than ever! This year, the event, which stands for Chemistry Happens with Adventurous Outstanding Scientists, is themed around The Chemistry of Food and Cooking. Kids of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, as well as adults, are welcome to attend and participate in the evening of CHAOS.

Led by Dr. Alison Bray, professor and chair of the chemistry department at TLU, attendees will have the chance to engage in various hands-on experiments that showcase the processes involved in food and cooking science. From making biopolymers to conducting candy chromatograph and tasting liquid nitrogen ice cream, visitors will be able to experience chemistry in a fun and interactive way.

The Pi Rho Chemistry Club at TLU is hosting the event, which aims to educate and inspire the community to learn more about the science of food and cooking. The event will take place at the Jackson Park’s Student Activities Center from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of chemistry in new ways!
