Collin Lee has been appointed as the space business development vice president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), which he announced via LinkedIn on Tuesday. Prior to this, Lee worked as VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business and was with the subsidiary for five years of his 23-year career, which has focused on business consulting, defense and intelligence.
Lee began his career after earning a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University. He then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as senior consultant before moving to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003. In May 2007, Lee became legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where he stayed for more than four years before being appointed director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.
During his time at GDMS, Lee served as director of strategy and business development and also headed up the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
