Buffalo Museum of Science Hosts Eclipse-A-Palooza Event

The Solar Eclipse is just around the corner and if you’re looking for a way to spend your spring break with your family, look no further than the Buffalo Museum of Science. From April 1st to 7th, the museum will be hosting Eclipse-A-Palooza, a week-long programming event dedicated to this incredible astronomical event.

Each day of Eclipse-A-Palooza will feature activities that will educate visitors about the eclipse and its technology used to observe it. On April 8th, NASA scientists and educators will be on hand to host programming throughout the weekend leading up to the eclipse. This is a great opportunity for families to learn more about science in general and specifically about this unique event.

The Buffalo Museum of Science has been named a “subject matter expert site” by NASA for this occasion. This means that visitors can expect some of the most comprehensive and accurate information about the eclipse available anywhere else. The museum’s exhibits are open from 10AM to 2PM each day, making it easy for families to fit in their visit during their spring break schedule.

Buffalo Public School students are also lucky enough to enjoy free admission on April 5th to 7th as part of Eclipse-A-Palooza. This is an excellent opportunity for them to learn more about science while also having fun with their friends and family members.

As much as we all would love it, it’s important to note that the museum will be closed on April 8th – the day of the actual solar eclipse – so visitors should plan accordingly and make sure they attend before then! Tickets can be purchased online for added convenience, so there’s no need
