In a recent note released on Monday, the former President Donald Trump’s physician declared that he is in “excellent health” and will continue to lead an active lifestyle for many years. The physical and mental health of both Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden has become a major issue in the 2024 presidential race, given Biden’s 81st birthday and Trump’s leadership in the Republican nominating contest.
Trump posted the note on his Truth Social account, which was released on the same day as Biden’s birthday. According to the note, Trump has been able to reduce his weight through an improved diet and regular exercise while maintaining a busy schedule. The note was signed by Bruce Aronwald, an osteopath from New Jersey, but it did not provide any additional information about Trump’s health.
Trump’s physical examinations were reportedly within normal limits, and his cognitive examinations were described as exceptional. However, this note was produced by a different doctor than the one who created a similar note in 2016. In that case, Trump’s physician Harold Bornstein stated that Trump had dictated its contents.
In the 2016 letter, Trump revealed that he weighed 215 pounds (98 kg) and stood at 6 feet 3 inches (1.9 meters). This information came out during a wide-ranging criminal case stemming from Trump’s attempts to overturn his 2020 election defeat in Georgia, where he pleaded not guilty in several criminal cases.
