Mason Striverson earns spot on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Kynidi Mason Striverson, a sophomore guard for the University of Evansville’s women’s basketball team, has received recognition for her outstanding performance both on the court and in the classroom. After a successful 2023-24 season, Striverson was honored as an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators.

Striverson was the second-leading scorer for the Aces, averaging an impressive 11.5 points per game. She also led the team in assists with 122 over 32 games. Notably, she was one of only three Evansville players to appear in all 32 games and was the sole player to start in every single game.

Off the court, Striverson is equally impressive as she maintains a remarkable 3.663 cumulative GPA as a business management major. She has been recognized on the University of Evansville’s Dean’s List twice during her time at the university, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence.

To qualify for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have participated in 90% of the team’s games or started in 66% of the team’s games. Striverson meets these criteria with ease, showcasing her dedication to excelling in all aspects of her collegiate career.
