Two Demos and the Final Trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Released Ahead of Launch

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, one of the most highly anticipated games of 2024, is now available on PS5 with a demo that allows players to experience the opening chapter of the game. The demo will be released in two parts, with the second section set to launch on February 21st, offering a sneak peek at the vast game world before the official launch on February 29th.

During a recent Sony Interactive Entertainment State of Play dedicated to the game, both the demo and final trailer were presented. The trailer offers an overview of the plot and characters, including the group’s mission to hunt down Sephiroth and save the planet. New locations, minigames, and familiar characters are also shown in the trailer. A new battle system has been introduced that combines real-time action with strategic controls.

The “Fall of a Hero in Nibelheim” demo includes an extensive flashback section that allows players to relive one of the most critical story missions in Final Fantasy VII: Nibelheim Incident. On February 21st, players can expect an updated version of this demo called “Dawn of a New Era in Junon,” which offers additional exploration and combat possibilities. It should be noted that any progress made in this section will not transferable to the full game; however, players who complete it will receive bonuses that can be used throughout Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. These bonuses include a moogle lucky charm and adventure items that can aid players throughout their journey.

The presentation offered an overview of many aspects of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s features, such as how characters interact with each other and how they impact on the story’s outcome. New information about protagonists and mechanics like skill trees was also revealed during this presentation. In addition to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s release date set for February 29th, 2024, fans can explore other titles within this universe by playing Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis – a mobile role-playing game that provides new narrative elements and allows you to explore key events from the Final Fantasy VII timeline.

Overall, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth promises to expand upon previous installments within this beloved series while offering a fresh adventure on an exciting planet where players must stop Sephiroth from destroying it entirely.
