France’s Delphine Cascarino will miss the Planet Cup right after her club Lyon mentioned on Thursday that she would be sidelined for “many months” right after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament.

“[Cascarino] underwent tests in midweek, which … revealed a partial rupture of the suitable anterior cruciate ligament,” Lyon mentioned in a statement. The French club added that the winger will want to undergo reconstructive surgery and will be out “for many months”.
