On November 22, 1963, the world was shocked by the sudden and tragic death of American President John F. Kennedy. The Kennedy family had already faced numerous hardships, with Jack’s sister Rosemary having undergone a lobotomy at a young age and Kathleen dying in a plane crash just two years prior. Older brothers Joe and Robert had also passed away, with Robert being killed during his campaign for the presidency in 1968.
