On November 22, 1963, the world was shocked by the sudden and tragic death of American President John F. Kennedy. The Kennedy family had already faced numerous hardships, with Jack’s sister Rosemary having undergone a lobotomy at a young age and Kathleen dying in a plane crash just two years prior. Older brothers Joe and Robert had also passed away, with Robert being killed during his campaign for the presidency in 1968.

The assassination of JFK was yet another devastating blow to the family. In the years that followed, their children would also face their own share of tragedy. Despite these hardships, the Kennedy family remained resilient and continued to inspire millions around the world with their unwavering dedication to public service and their commitment to making a positive impact on society.
