FWC: Black Bear Encounter Forces Closure of More than a Dozen Rides at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

Additional than a dozen rides and attractions at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, have been closed on Monday due to the presence of a black bear spotted in a tree at the theme park. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) confirmed the sighting and stated that employees have been operating on capturing and relocating the bear. Though ride closures are not uncommon, obtaining so numerous attractions closed simultaneously shortly right after the park opened for the day is uncommon.
