At the University of Nevada, Reno, students have the opportunity to pursue a 15-credit program in Instructional Design and Technology (GC-IDT). This program is designed to prepare students for designing instructional materials and integrating technology into various learning environments, such as K-12 schools, universities, and industry.
While this program does not grant a graduate degree, it can serve as an excellent foundation for those looking to pursue further education in the field. The credits earned in this program may be transferable to the ITLD master’s program and other graduate programs.
For more information about the GC-IDT program, please contact Dr. Leping Liu, professor of Information Technology & Statistics at liu@unr.edu or Dr. Li-Ting Chen, associate professor of Quantitative Methods & Learning Sciences at litingc@unr.edu.
