Google’s Maps app to introduce groundbreaking features for travelers

Google has recently released an update for its Maps application in 40 cities across North America. Starting next week, users will have access to curated lists of recommended places to visit and dine at, thanks to Google’s algorithmic recommendations. The app will feature a weekly “trending” list of popular sites, as well as historically popular locations and hidden gems worth exploring. In addition to this, Google is integrating artificial intelligence into its search capabilities, allowing users to create complete itineraries based on specific characteristics and preferences. These itineraries will include information on flights, hotels, local attractions, and dining options. Users can easily export the itinerary to Google Docs or email for easy access.

Google is also introducing new translation capabilities to its Circle to Search feature. This feature allows users to quickly translate text on their screen, such as online menus or local event pages. While this new feature is currently available on select devices, it will be rolling out to more Android devices in the near future.
