Green Business Leadership in Steamboat Springs: Growing the Sustainability Movement with Hypnotic Chicken and Bud Werner Memorial Library

Green Business Workshop in Northwest Colorado happening this week

In Steamboat Springs, the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and Steamboat Springs Chamber are collaborating to host the second installment of their “Business Leadership for Climate” workshop series. This event is taking place on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room.

During the workshop, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of Colorado’s green business program, learn how to navigate the recognition application process, and discover strategies for accumulating points towards certification. The goal of this event is to promote the growth of the Yampa Valley green business community and facilitate discussions about green business opportunities and challenges. Lunch will be provided by Hypnotic Chicken with energy bars from Bar-U-Eat.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is necessary through TicketTailor.com/events/yampavallleysustainabilitycouncil/1144591. Additionally, for those unable to attend the workshop, the Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley team will host office hours at Bud Werner Memorial Library Coffee Bar on the last Wednesday of every month from 8:30-9:30 a.m., no RSVP required just drop in for a free coffee and snack while getting more information and answering questions!
