LaDonna Lynn Phelps, a beloved member of the Newton Falls community, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, November 16th, 2023. She was 64 years old and left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and her faith.

Born to Leon and Lillian Reynolds Garrett on January 16th, 1959 in Elberton, Georgia, LaDonna was the epitome of strength and perseverance. After graduating from Elbert County High School, she pursued her nursing degree at Athens Technical School and went on to work as a nurse for over 30 years. She retired from Victoria House in 2021 but continued to dedicate herself to her patients with the same passion that defined her career.

LaDonna was a devoted Christian who attended the Elberton Church of God. In her spare time, she enjoyed various hobbies such as crocheting, sewing, baking, playing the piano, and painting pictures. These creative outlets allowed her to express herself and bring joy to those around her.
