John E. Anzak, a resident of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was 66 years old and had been born on July 31, 1957 to the late Shirley (Cochran) and John Anzak.

John worked as an employee of the US Postal Service for 32 years, serving as Post Master for a total of 24 years before retiring on his birthday in 2009. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing trips and watching sports.

Surviving family members include John’s brother James Anzak of St.Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC.; and step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry. Additionally, he had three first cousins who will miss him deeply.

The family is welcoming friends to visit them at Apostolic Pentecostal Church located at 73339 Pleasant Grove Rd., St Clairsville, OH 43950 on Wednesday November 22nd at 11am with services following at 1 pm led by Pastor Dan Nelson.
