MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Macon Mental Health Matters met at Just Tap’d on Friday for their Relationships and Mental Wellness session.
Participants gathered at Just Tap’d, to participate in MMHM’s lunch and learn series from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M.
In previous weeks, the mental wellness group met for sessions on women’s and men’s mental health.
MMHM says “Whether you are new to therapy or looking to gain a better understanding of mental wellness, this event is for everyone.”
Their events strive to provide an environment that supports, connects, and educates participants while also allowing them a platform to share their experiences.
“The Lunch & Learn series will discuss practical ways in which mental health can benefit the lives of men, women, and their relationships,” says MMHM Coordinator Andrea Cooke. “The conversations will include both mental health professionals and those who have experienced counseling. These will be honest transparent conversations to reduce the impacts of mental health on everyday living. We also hope to build connection for our community,” said MMH.
