Weekend Schedule for NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races at Martinsville Speeday

The upcoming weekend at Martinsville Speedway promises to be a thrilling one, with all three national NASCAR series in action. The excitement begins on Friday with the Truck teams taking center stage, followed by the Xfinity teams on Saturday afternoon and the Cup teams bringing the weekend to a close with a Sunday afternoon race. Last season’s winners at Martinsville were Corey Heim in the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek in the spring Xfinity race, and Kyle Larson in the spring Cup race.

The weather forecast for the weekend looks promising, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees on Friday for the Truck race, mostly sunny skies and a high of 58 degrees on Saturday for the Xfinity race, and sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees on Sunday for the Cup race. The Richmond Cup race featured a mix of wet weather tires and racing slicks, adding an element of excitement to the race.

On Friday, garage opens at 10 a.m. for the Craftsman Truck Series, followed by track activity from 3:05 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., including Truck Series practice, qualifying, and racing. On Saturday, garage opens at 10:30 a.m., followed by track activity including Cup practice, qualifying, and the Xfinity race. Finally on Sunday, garage opens at 3 p.m., with track activity starting at that time featuring the Cup race.
