The Arab world applauds the UN decision as a crucial and essential move

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly supported the call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and emphasized the need for international efforts to stop aggression, release captives, and prevent forced displacement. The terrorist organization Hamas also highlighted the importance of freedom of movement for Palestinians and accessibility to humanitarian needs in all areas of the Gaza Strip, including heavy equipment for clearing rubble.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry welcomed the UN Security Council’s decision for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan, leading to a permanent ceasefire, the release of hostages, and increased humanitarian aid for civilians in the Strip. Saudi Arabia urged the international community to stop Israeli attacks on Gaza and end the suffering of Palestinian civilians.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry also welcomed the ceasefire decision in Gaza after months of military operations by Israel. Egypt emphasized the need to stop bloodshed, prevent civilian losses, and provide humanitarian aid. The ministry will continue efforts with international and regional parties to address the crisis quickly. Jordan, too, welcomed the ceasefire resolution, urging Israel to comply and protect civilians while ensuring continuous humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip to achieve a permanent ceasefire.
