Newsom tours West LA veterans hospital, touts mental wellness investments – Each day News

On the eve of Memorial Day weekend, Gov. Gavin Newsom and 1st companion Jennifer Siebel Newsom visited the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus, touring a new supportive housing website there.

The pay a visit to on Friday afternoon, Might 26, was intended to tout what the governor’s press workplace described in a news release as “historic investments produced in behavioral wellness and housing sources for veterans.”

Current state investments have led to CalVet expanding applications focused on veterans, especially complete behavioral and mental wellness solutions, such as these provided at the West Los Angeles VA campus.
