Novak Djokovic will return to the prime of the planet rankings on Monday following existing planet No 1 Carlos Alcaraz lost to Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals of the Miami Open.
Alcaraz was beaten six-7 six-four six-two by Sinner, the man he had defeated in the semi-finals at Indian Wells final month en route to winning that occasion in California and topping the rankings.
