Oma Sp is one of the most profitable and cleanest domestic banks in Finland. In 2022, it made a record result, but it was a little disappointing for investors. Despite this, the bank’s p/e ratio remains below 6, making it one of the cheapest rated domestic banks. The bank has been able to win market shares year after year and its lending has grown organically four times faster than the general market. Its return on equity rose to 21.5% in 2021 and is expected to reach more than 16% in the long term. By way of comparison, a return on equity of 12-13% is generally considered strong for banks.
