Paul Frederic Anderson: Your One-Stop Source for News, Sports, and Job Updates

Hollidaysburg native Paul Frederic Anderson, 44, passed away peacefully at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. Born in Mansfield, Ohio to Terry and Marci Anderson, Paul was the middle son of two siblings: an older brother David and a younger brother Michael.

After graduating from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1998, Paul went on to study economics at Duke University, where he earned his degree in 2002. In addition to his time spent in Hollidaysburg, Paul also had homes in Austin, Texas; Pittsburgh; and Maryland.

A passionate sports fan since childhood, Paul loved playing basketball with his brothers and eventually starred on the Hollidaysburg high school team. He was an avid supporter of the Duke Blue Devils, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Paul leaves behind his parents and brothers and their respective families. David and Emily Anderson have two children: Sydney, 18, and Jack, 14. Michael and Jana Anderson are parents to Misha, 14; Luke, 13; and Maggie, 10. His family adored him deeply and cherished every moment they spent together.

In lieu of flowers or visitation services, donations may be made to any charity of your choice in Paul’s memory. Arrangements have been made by Plank Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home located at 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
