Pilot Unharmed as Globe War I-Era Plane Crashes in Stow without having Injury

In Stow, a pilot escaped injury on Sunday morning right after a plane from the Globe War I era crashed close to Barton Road and the American Heritage Museum. The plane, which had only the pilot on board, crashed due to a failure in the front landing gear. Thankfully, the pilot was in a position to exit the aircraft unharmed. The Federal Aviation Administration is at the moment investigating the incident. Initial findings indicate that the collapse of the landing gear triggered the aircraft, a single-engine Nieuport 28, to flip more than onto its roof. Additional information are at the moment unavailable.
