Walter Russell Mead is a distinguished fellow in Technique and Statesmanship at Hudson Institute. He holds the position of the Worldwide View Columnist at The Wall Street Journal and is also the James Clarke Chace Professor of Foreign Affairs and Humanities at Bard College in New York. Moreover, he is a member of Aspen Institute Italy and serves as a board member of Aspenia. Prior to his time at Hudson, Mead was a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, exactly where he held the Henry A. Kissinger Senior Fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy position.

Mead is an achieved author, obtaining written various books, such as the extensively-recognized Particular Providence: American Foreign Policy and How It Changed the Planet (Alfred A. Knopf, 2004). He is at present operating on his upcoming book titled The Arc of A Covenant: The United States, Israel, and the Future of the Jewish Men and women.
