Preparing for Thanksgiving: How to Stuff Bags and More!

Bernie Clarke, a dedicated volunteer at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry, was seen tirelessly working at the stuffing station of the Thanksgiving bag assembly line on Monday morning. Along with other volunteers, they spent over an hour packing bags in preparation for distribution.

Linda Young, the organizer of the event, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food to those in need during the holiday season. The community’s support and commitment to helping those less fortunate were evident in their efforts.

The mission of the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry to provide food security to the community has been a vital aspect of their work.
