The 10th round of the Premier League passed without any major incidents, with mostly the hosts emerging victorious. As the season progresses, it becomes increasingly clear who will be fighting for entry into the Champions League.

The first match of the round saw Varaždin and Osijek face off. Osijek began strong, leading Varaždin 5-0 early on. However, Varaždin quickly rallied and took a lead of their own by halftime, with a score of 17-14 in their favor. In the end, Varaždin emerged victorious with a final score of 35-29.

Zagreb also had a relatively easy match against Gorica, despite resting some key players. Despite leading by a goal or two in the first half, Gorica was unable to keep up with Zagreb’s second half comeback and ultimately lost convincingly.

Karlovac and Trogir played a tight game that saw Karlovac emerge with a minimal advantage throughout the match. Trogir waited for their chance but were ultimately unable to pull through and ended up losing to Karlovac.

Igor Vori’s team made a late comeback against Moslavina to win in the final 15 minutes, while Križevci extended their streak to six games without a win as they lost to Poreč in an exciting derby match. Spačva dominated their match against Metković from start to finish, while Rudar won painlessly against Kaštela in what was perhaps the least exciting match of the round.
