The Los Angeles Rams announced on Tuesday that they have waived running back Darrell Henderson from their roster, ending his second stint with the team. Henderson, a 2019 third-round pick, had initially remained with the Rams until November 2022 before returning to the practice squad in October. He was signed to the active roster earlier this month and made four appearances, running 46 times for 112 yards and two touchdowns while also catching 10 passes for 103 yards.
Henderson’s return to the lineup had coincided with Kyren Williams going on injured reserve. However, Williams is set to return from injured reserve this week, likely filling the spot that opened up with Henderson’s departure.
