In the 2023 season, Krajicek and his partner Ivan Dodig achieved the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings. The Tampa, Florida native posted a 47-19 record in doubles and held the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks, including 10 consecutive weeks at the end of the season.

Krajicek and Dodig secured five tournament wins in 2023, including a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros. This championship came a year after losing in the Paris title match in 2022.

During this season, Krajicek amassed 7,130 doubles points, which was the largest point disparity since the final 2019 doubles rankings. He finished with 510 more points than Dodig and 740 more points than Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden, who tied for third place.

Krajicek and Dodig claimed all five titles at or above the ATP 500 levels and reached the Semifinals of the U.S. Open in addition to their Grand Slam victory. This accomplishment made Krajicek history as he became the first Aggie to finish a year as the top-ranked player in an ATP ranking.
