47 festival attendees suspected of being poisoned after consuming bread and dumplings

The annual Ong Bon Pagoda Festival in Binh Duong, held on April 3rd in Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An city, saw a sudden outbreak of food poisoning among attendees who consumed free bread and dumplings provided by a charity group. Symptoms included stomachaches, vomiting, dizziness, and fatigue. A total of 47 people were hospitalized, with 5 individuals being discharged and 42 others remaining for monitoring. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident and have taken samples of the food for testing.
