Ronald Jones, the operating back who briefly joined the Dallas Cowboys, has been released by the group without having even playing a single game. This choice was created as quickly as Jones’ suspension was officially lifted. He had been suspended for the very first two games of the season due to violating the NFL policy on functionality-enhancing substances.
For the duration of education camp, Jones also had to deal with a groin injury, which resulted in him missing out on the preseason games. Even though he was chosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, his standout season came in 2020.
