Severe Cable Car Damage Halts Skiing at Sljem Red Spus for 2021

The Trosjed cable car on the Red Slope sustained significant damage during a July storm, leaving experts from the Austrian company Doppelmayr with no choice but to conclude that it was beyond repair. This news has disappointed many skiing enthusiasts who were eagerly anticipating this winter’s ski season on the Red Slope.

However, officials from the City of Zagreb have assured that preparations for the ski season are underway and that snowmaking will soon begin to prepare for the season on the White and Green slopes. Additionally, plans for the procurement of a new cable car for the Red Slope are in progress, which means that skiing enthusiasts can still look forward to hitting the slopes this winter.

In summary, while the Trosjed cable car on the Red Slope will not be operational for skiing this year due to damage sustained during a July storm, preparations for the ski season on other slopes are well underway and plans for a new cable car for the Red Slope are in progress.
