A man is being investigated by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly stole an ATM from a business in Boyce. On February 12, at approximately 4:55 a.m., a man approached a business located in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and backed up a black Ford Fusion into it. He then rammed the front doors off their hinges to gain entry to the building.
Once inside, the suspect took the ATM machine and placed it in his vehicle before leaving about six minutes later. The black Ford Fusion should have heavy damage to its rear and be missing side mirrors, as well as its rear bumper and several undercarriage items.
The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary and asking for any information related to the incident. The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property.
