The Bucks Foundation’s annual Foundation Week is kicking off on April 1, and CBS 58 is proud to be a sponsor. The purpose of the week is to support the Foundation’s work in health and wellness and youth education.
Arvind Gopalratnam, Executive Director of the Bucks Foundation, discussed how the proceeds from the week will benefit these areas. The initiative includes a weeklong auction and a special broadcast auction during the game against the Washington Wizards on April 2. Fans will have new ways to contribute, such as through Mystery Boxes prepared by Kandu Industries, a nonprofit that employs adults with disabilities in Janesville.
In addition to the auctions, the Bucks Foundation’s 50/50 raffle at home games has been expanded during Foundation Week to provide even more opportunities for fans to give back. The Foundation’s focus on health and wellness and youth education underscores their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
For more information on how to participate in Foundation Week, visit their website. With support from sponsors like CBS 58, the Bucks Foundation can continue its important work in supporting the health and education of Milwaukee’s youth.
