Buffalo Bills star receiver Stefon Diggs has been traded to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick and two sixth-round picks, ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced. This trade will result in a $31 million dead cap charge for the Bills in 2024, as Diggs is under contract with the team until 2027.

Selected in the fifth round of the 2015 draft, Diggs spent his first five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before joining the Bills in 2020. In his first season with Buffalo, he led the league in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535). Despite a slight decline in production in 2023, Diggs still managed to record over 100 catches (107) and 1,000 yards (1,183) for the fourth consecutive year. He has achieved over 1,000 receiving yards for the past six seasons.

The Texans will welcome Diggs as a valuable addition to their team, providing young quarterback C.J. Stroud with another strong offensive weapon. Throughout his career, Diggs has amassed 810 receptions for 9,995 yards and 67 touchdowns in 136 games.
