Syra Health, a healthcare technology company based in Indiana, has recently secured its third contract in Virginia to support Fairfax County’s healthcare workforce. The company offers a range of workforce management services including recruitment, evaluation, talent processing, apprenticeships, communication tools, performance analytics, compliance monitoring, training, certifications and career coaching.

Under the agreement with Fairfax County, Syra will provide licensed nurses to offer 24-hour nursing care and assist the County in filling other temporary healthcare positions. The contract is set to expire on June 30, 2028 with the possibility of renewal for an additional two years. This marks the third agreement that Syra Health has made within the State of Virginia. Previously, the company signed contracts with the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Corrections to supply temporary medical staff and with the state’s Department of General Services to provide healthcare staff state-wide.

Sandeep Allam, executive chairman and president of Syra Health stated that the company’s dedication to enhancing healthcare extends beyond traditional models and they aim to contribute to the County of Fairfax’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to its community. In addition to its workforce management services, Syra Health also partners with public health departments to analyze population health. The company has signed contracts with the City of San Antonio and the state of Indiana to assess and implement public health initiatives aimed at reducing health disparities and improving public health infrastructure and behavioral health.
