Larry Lucchino, a legendary baseball executive and former president of the Boston Red Sox, passed away at the age of 78. Lucchino was instrumental in leading the Red Sox to three World Series championships during his 14-year tenure as team president, ending the “Curse of the Bambino.”

During his time with the Red Sox, Lucchino made several notable moves that helped shape the organization’s success.
