As part of the tracker, sponsored by Three Notch’d Brewing, fans can stay updated on any additions or departures from the team.

Despite not expecting significant turnover this offseason, the JMU Women’s Basketball team has already made some notable changes to their roster. One of these additions is Ro Scott from Marshall, a graduate transfer guard who led the Thundering Herd in scoring in the 2022-23 season. Scott is considered a quality scorer from the Sun Belt conference and is expected to provide an offensive boost to the Dukes with one year of eligibility remaining.

However, there have also been some departures from the JMU Women’s Basketball team. Chloe Sterling, who played as one of the team’s point guards in the 2023-24 season, has decided to leave the program. Sterling was a key player for the team, leading them with 87 assists and showcasing scoring potential. Fans hoped that Sterling would stay in Harrisonburg and develop into an All-Conference player at mid-major level.

With these changes to their roster, JMU Women’s Basketball team will have a new look heading into next season and fans are excited to see how they will perform on court.
