Amwins Underwriting division’s Program Underwriters (APU) has recently launched its Home Health Care HNOA program, which offers specialized coverage for home health care operations. The demand for home health care services has been on the rise as seniors increasingly choose to remain in their homes for longer periods and advancements in medical procedures allow for at-home recovery. APU’s HNOA program is tailored to address the unique challenges faced by home health care providers when delivering essential services to patients in their homes.
Julie Reisinger, the program manager at APU, emphasized the importance of working with experts who are well-versed in the evolving healthcare landscape. She highlighted the team’s dedication to crafting customized coverage solutions for insureds, ensuring long-term protection for their clients. The coverage under the Home Health Care HNOA program is available in all states except for Louisiana and offers standalone hired and non-owned auto liability with limits up to $5 million.
The program caters to a variety of classes of business such as doctors, nurse practitioners, visiting nurses, physical therapists, and more. However, accounts involving client, patient, or passenger transport are not eligible for this particular program. At Amwins, the healthcare specialists are deeply involved in the market and maintain strong relationships with top-rated carriers. This enables them to offer clients the precise coverage they need to safeguard their operations. The goal of the Home Health Care HNOA program is to provide comprehensive and tailored insurance solutions for home health care providers, ensuring they have the necessary protection to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.
