Deer Park High School Celebrates Academic Excellence, Perseverance and Passion for Learning: 2021 Honor Society Induction Ceremony

At Deer Park High School, the annual induction ceremony for the Math and Science Honor Societies welcomed 40 new Math Honor Society members and 32 new Science Honor Society members. The scholars were greeted by advisers Edward Libretto and Cassidy Velle, followed by a keynote speech from Kaleigh Pizzirusso.

During his speech, Muhsin Maqsood, President of the Math Honor Society, addressed the new inductees, emphasizing the importance of their dedication to their studies and their passion for math. He encouraged them to embrace the opportunity to explore the natural world and the role that numbers play in it, while engaging in discussions and theories with their peers who share the same curiosity.

Calvin Nguyen, President of the Science National Honor Society, praised the new members for their academic excellence and enthusiasm towards science. He expressed confidence in these students’ potential to become future leaders not only in Deer Park but also on a global scale. The induction ceremony highlighted the hard work and commitment of these students to excel academically and pursue their passions in math and science.

The ceremony was an opportunity for both existing members of both honor societies to be recognized for their achievements. They were applauded for their hard work and dedication towards achieving academic excellence.

In conclusion, this induction ceremony was a testament to Deer Park High School’s commitment to nurturing bright minds that will lead our future society towards innovation and progress. The students who were inducted into these honor societies have already shown great potential, but they still have a long way to go before they can achieve their goals. It is up to them now to continue pushing themselves towards success while staying true to their passion for math or science.

The induction ceremony was a celebration of academic excellence, perseverance, and passion for learning. It was an inspiration for all those who attended as well as those who did not attend but read about it later on social media or through news articles like this one.
