With its sleek design, advanced technology, impressive performance, and outstanding fuel efficiency, the Tucson Hybrid has caught my attention. However, I noticed that the drivetrain and transmission could use some refinement.

Compact crossover SUVs are currently one of the most popular vehicle categories in America, with over 20% of new sales in the first quarter of this year. For over two decades, Hyundai has been offering the Tucson in this segment, making it their top-selling vehicle with almost 210,000 units sold in 2023 alone. The Tucson is also one of the most popular models in its class, with the fourth generation launching in 2021.
