In an exclusive interview with Fars news agency, Ali Noroozi discussed the remarkable achievements of the AEOI (Atomic Energy Organization of Iran) in the past Iranian year that ended on March 20th. The Department of Advanced Technologies at AEOI introduced two new products during the year.
The first product is related to the separation of tellurium isotopes, while the second one is a spectrophotometer used in nuclear fusion. The deputy head of AEOI emphasized that producing this highly accurate diagnostic tool domestically has made Iran one of only a few countries worldwide with this technology.
In addition to these advancements, Noroozi revealed that Iran plans to unveil its stable isotope separation chain for iridium in the upcoming Persian New Year. This development is crucial as it represents a significant step forward in radiography and diagnostic capabilities, which have been impacted by US-led Western sanctions.
Noroozi further highlighted Iran’s plans to expand its peaceful nuclear programs in the coming year, with a goal of achieving prominence in nuclear fusion. These advancements demonstrate Iran’s commitment to progress in the field despite external challenges.
Overall, these developments underscore Iran’s dedication to making significant strides in nuclear technology despite ongoing international sanctions and pressure.
