The annual Science and Math night at Williams Elementary School in Jonesville drew hundreds of students and their families on April 25. The event, held in the school building with support from the community, teachers, and students in the National Honor Society, featured a variety of STEM activities that focused on science, technology, engineering, and math.
One of the highlights of the night was an interactive station set up by Camp Michindoh, where attendees got to interact with several different species of animals. This activity was a big hit with everyone in attendance. Additionally, the Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams showcased their robots and coding skills at the event.
The Science and Math night is designed to bring families together in an educational environment outside of the regular classroom setting. It provides an opportunity for students to explore and learn in a fun and engaging way. Over the years, this annual event has been enjoyed by thousands of Jonesville students, sparking their creativity and imagination.
