Many deputies of the 10th convocation fought for a new term in office, which brings with it a minimum salary of 2,000 euros and other benefits. However, some did not win a new mandate and enter the category of losers of these parliamentary elections. Among them are the Social Democrats, 18 of them, who were founded in the fall of 2022 after the decision of Pećstroka Grbina to expel disobedient members from the SDP. The voters decided that there was no longer a place for them in the legislative representative body, leading to their defeat in the elections.
Although the Homeland Movement is the third political force in the country, they failed to gain enough trust from voters to win a mandate in the third constituency. Entertainer Davor Dretar Drele, who won 4,703 preferential votes, also lost his parliamentary seat. Katarina Peović and Karolina Vidović Kristo, vocal critics of the ruling party, will no longer be seen in parliamentary debates. The Reformists, who had one mandate in the last convocation, will also not have a representative in the Parliament this time.
Bojan Glavašević, a former independent representative, also lost in the election. He ran on the Rijeka pravde list and won 6.5 percent of preferential votes. His name is on the list for the European Parliament, so his defeat in the parliamentary elections does not mean farewell to politics. Ermina Lekaj Prljaskaj, the representative of the Albanian national minority, also bid farewell to the parliamentary benches.
